While the Supreme Court of the United States is hearing arguments in two cases which can have a lasting impact on the legality of same-sex marriage in this country, I decided to put together a quick canvas experiment to show my support for marriage equality. The code applies randomized textures to generate the Human Rights Campaign logo in four versions (two color schemes on two background colors): the usual blue-and-yellow version, plus a special red version which has become the symbol for supporting marriage equality in recent days.

The textures are the same as those used in my fractal gradient post, and the shapes are based on my imperfect rectangles.

Click on each of the screenshots below to see the four different examples. You can repeatedly generate the images, and save the ones you like (the savable image will open in a new window, where you can right-click to save).
